June 2023 - Short Community Survey
In the June 2023 community newsletter, the Kuaotunu Residents and Ratepayers Association asked the community to undertake a short survey to help the newly elected committee to know where it should concentrate its advocacy efforts in the year ahead.
A total of 198 unique responses were received to this survey.
October 2018 - Community Plan Survey
In the October 2018 community newsletter, the Kuaotunu Residents and Ratepayers Association asked the community to respond to a survey based on the Community Plan document that was created almost 10 years ago.
The Committee condensed the original plan down to 20 main themes, and asked the community to advise how important they considered each of these themes to be, plus give us their thoughts on anything else that they felt should be considered.
March 2018 - Library Survey
Concerns had been expressed in the community about the proposed new site for the Kuaotunu library at the Domain, despite this proposal having been discussed fully at the public meeting in January with no dissent having been expressed.
The following question was therefore asked:
Do you want the Library Committee to continue with its plan to convert half of the existing building at the Domain into a new space for the Kuaotunu Library?
Results
64 (81%) in favour

February 2018 - Campervan Survey
KRRA advised that it was interested in finding an alternative location in the Kuaotunu area for self-contained campervans, motorhomes and caravans to park, to give campers an alternative to parking at the boat-ramp and taking up places meant for boat trailers.
Three possible sites were mooted: the Old Tennis Courts, the Sports Ground, and the Black Jack Reserve.
The question asked was:
Do you support the KRRA in trying to find a suitable alternative parking space for self-contained campervans, motorhomes and caravans?
